Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement and Scope
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern travel advisory, planning, research, booking coordination, and related services provided by MBM Awe Inspired Travel LLC ("MBM," "we," "us," or "our") to the person accepting these Terms and the travelers for whom that person requests services (collectively, "you" or "Traveler").
MBM is an independent travel advisory business. MBM assists with researching and arranging travel supplied by independent third parties, which may include airlines, cruise lines, hotels and resorts, tour operators, transfer companies, rental-car companies, rail providers, activity providers, travel insurers, and destination service providers (collectively, "Suppliers"). MBM does not own or operate those Supplier services.
Host Agency Relationship. MBM is independently owned and operated and is affiliated with Travel Quest Network, LLC, doing business as WorldVia Travel Network ("WorldVia"), as its host agency. For certain travel transactions, MBM may use WorldVia's industry credentials, booking and payment systems, supplier relationships, commission-processing services, and other administrative support. WorldVia is separate from MBM and is not the provider of the independent Supplier travel services identified in these Terms unless a transaction specifically states otherwise.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
You must review and affirmatively accept these Terms before MBM begins paid or unpaid planning (if planning fee is waived) or research services. Acceptance may be completed electronically through the client workflow used for your trip. Your acceptance applies to the version of the Terms presented for that engagement.
If you request services for other travelers, you represent that you are authorized to provide their information and coordinate travel on their behalf, and you agree to share material booking terms, deadlines, Supplier rules, and travel documents with them.
3. Our Professional Services
Depending on the engagement, MBM may provide consultation, destination and Supplier research, custom itinerary planning, comparisons and recommendations, reservation coordination, air or lodging assistance, cruise or package booking, transfers, activities, group planning, accessibility-focused planning, travel-document coordination, and reasonable pre-travel or in-travel support.
The exact scope depends on the selected service, the information you provide, Supplier availability, and the professional fee disclosed for the engagement. MBM may decline a request outside its service scope or that cannot reasonably be supported.
4. Planning & Booking Fees
If MBM requires a Planning & Booking Fee ("PBF") for a particular engagement, MBM will disclose the applicable amount before paid work begins. The PBF is a professional-service fee separate from Supplier deposits and travel payments. The detailed fee schedule appears in the separate Planning & Booking Fee Agreement presented for the engagement.
Any applicable PBF must be paid in full before MBM begins the paid work. MBM may waive or reduce a PBF for a particular engagement through a written trip-specific disclosure; a waiver or reduction does not change the general fee schedule or create a right to the same treatment for another engagement.
Depending on the accepted service, the PBF may cover trip research, Supplier comparison, itinerary design, quote development, recommendations, booking coordination, payment-deadline coordination, reservation servicing, travel-document organization, accessibility-focused planning, and reasonable pre-travel support. The PBF does not purchase airfare, lodging, cruises, tours, insurance, transportation, activities, or other Supplier products and does not authorize a specific purchase.
An applicable PBF is nonrefundable once paid because it reserves professional capacity and initiates the engagement. If MBM accepts the engagement and payment but then cannot begin substantive paid work and ends the engagement before such work begins, MBM will return that PBF. This exception does not apply merely because the Traveler cancels, stops responding, books elsewhere, or chooses not to use work after the engagement has begun.
5. Routine Changes and Major Replanning
Routine changes, ordinary revisions, and ordinary cancellation assistance reasonably connected to the original accepted scope remain within the original PBF.
A materially different trip or major replanning may require an additional fee. Examples may include a new primary destination, substantially different dates, major traveler changes, replacement of most of the itinerary, or a near-total restart. MBM will begin that additional work only after disclosing the new scope and fee and receiving your acceptance.
6. Quotes, Availability, and Pricing
Travel quotes are not reservations and remain subject to availability and price change until the Supplier confirms the booking and required payment is successfully processed. Fares, room categories, inventory, promotions, taxes, mandatory fees, currency effects, and other Supplier charges may change without notice.
MBM will use reasonable care when presenting pricing and inclusions, but Supplier systems and third-party content can change. You are responsible for reviewing final booking details, total price, inclusions and exclusions, and payment schedules before authorizing purchase.
Professional Services, whether through paid PBF or a waiver of the PBF, does not a guaranteed itinerary, price, Supplier, room category, fare, upgrade, accessibility feature, refund, travel credit, insurance benefit, or travel outcome.
7. Booking Authorization and Supplier Terms
MBM will not intentionally make a reservation without your authorization. Authorization may be documented by a signed or electronic authorization, email, text message, verbal approval confirmed in the trip record, payment of a Supplier deposit, or another method reasonably showing approval of the specific booking.
Payment of a PBF authorizes MBM to begin the agreed professional services. It does not by itself authorize MBM to purchase a particular travel product.
Every booking is also subject to the applicable Supplier's terms, fare rules, cancellation and refund rules, and other restrictions. Supplier terms govern the Supplier travel product and are separate from these Terms governing MBM's professional services. Applicable law may override a Supplier term.
8. Payments and Payment Information
Travel payments are generally processed with the applicable Supplier or through authorized booking and payment systems. For transactions supported through its host-agency relationship, MBM may use WorldVia systems and industry credentials, along with TravelJoy and Supplier tools, for the applicable booking, authorization, payment, and administrative workflow.
Do not send complete payment-card numbers or bank-account information by ordinary email, text, or another unsecured channel unless MBM specifically directs you to an approved secure method. MBM does not intentionally retain complete payment-card or ACH credentials outside the approved systems used for the transaction. The merchant of record and payment-data path may vary by transaction.
You are responsible for accurate payment information, sufficient credit or funds, and meeting Supplier deadlines. A declined, reversed, disputed, or late payment can result in cancellation,
repricing, or loss of inventory under Supplier rules and applicable law.
9. Direct Booking and Payment Links
MBM may provide a direct Supplier booking or payment link. When you use a direct link, you transact with that Supplier or its payment processor. The Supplier's terms, privacy practices, payment rules, cancellation terms, and refund procedures apply. Providing the link does not by itself make MBM the merchant of record.
10. Changes, Cancellations, Refunds, and Travel Credits
Supplier change, cancellation, no-show, rebooking, refund, and travel-credit rules govern the travel products they provide, subject to applicable law. MBM does not guarantee that a Supplier will approve a refund, waiver, credit, exception, or reinstatement.
Routine changes and ordinary cancellation assistance reasonably connected to the original accepted scope remain within the original PBF. A materially different trip or major replanning may require an additional professional fee, but only after MBM discloses the new scope and fee and you accept both before the additional work begins.
11. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or inconsistent with the terms disclosed for the transaction, contact MBM promptly so the issue can be investigated and, where applicable, coordinated with the Supplier or processor.
A Supplier dispute, a disclosed Supplier cancellation rule, a direct-link transaction, or a decision not to use completed planning work does not by itself make an accurately disclosed MBM professional fee unauthorized. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights under applicable law, a cardholder agreement, or card-network rules.
12. Traveler Responsibilities
• Provide each traveler's full legal name, date of birth, contact information, and other required details accurately and on time.
• Review proposals, confirmations, invoices, itineraries, tickets, vouchers, and Supplier notices promptly and report errors immediately.
• Ensure passports, visas, identification, entry permissions, and other documents meet current destination and Supplier requirements.
• Independently verify current government, health, immigration, customs, vaccination, and destination-entry requirements.
• Meet deposit, final-payment, check-in, embarkation, reconfirmation, and other deadlines.
• Review and comply with Supplier terms, baggage rules, conduct rules, and transportation requirements.
• Advise MBM promptly of accessibility, mobility, dietary, medical, or other needs that may affect planning or booking.
• Decide whether to purchase travel insurance after reviewing available coverage and exclusions.
13. Passports, Visas, Health, and Entry Requirements
MBM may provide general information or links as a planning convenience. Requirements can change rapidly and vary by citizenship, residency, passport, itinerary, age, health status, and destination. Each Traveler remains responsible for independently confirming and satisfying current requirements.
14. Accessibility, Medical Needs, and Special Equipment
MBM welcomes travelers with accessibility, mobility, sensory, dietary, medical, and other special needs and will use information you provide to help identify suitable options. Accessibility standards, physical conditions, medical resources, and accommodation practices vary among Suppliers and destinations.
MBM may rely on Supplier descriptions and cannot independently inspect or guarantee every accessibility feature, identify every barrier, guarantee medical resources, or guarantee the availability or performance of mobility, oxygen, CPAP, or other equipment. Travelers should communicate material needs early, review confirmations, and carry appropriate information and backup supplies.
MBM's accessibility-focused planning is intended to assist with identifying and coordinating options; it does not guarantee that a specific facility, activity, or destination will meet Traveler's individual accessibility needs.
15. Professional Background and Scope of Services
MBM's owner, Melissa Mansur, is a licensed Physical Therapist. That professional background informs MBM's specialization in accessibility-focused travel planning, including familiarity with mobility equipment, adaptive travel considerations, and accessibility terminology. MBM's services to Client are travel advisory services only. No physical therapist–patient relationship, provider-patient relationship, or other clinical relationship is formed between MBM, Melissa Mansur individually, and Client by virtue of engaging MBM's travel planning services, regardless of Melissa's professional credentials. MBM does not evaluate, examine, diagnose, treat, or provide physical therapy or medical clearance for travel. Any information shared by MBM in the course of trip planning reflects general professional familiarity applied to travel logistics, not a formal clinical assessment, treatment recommendation, or professional opinion specific to Client's individual medical condition.
Client is solely responsible for consulting Client's own treating physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding fitness to travel and the medical or physical suitability of any destination, activity, or itinerary in light of Client's medical history. Client acknowledges that MBM's accessibility-focused planning assistance is not a substitute for, and should not be relied upon in place of, an individualized clinical evaluation by Client's own treating provider.
16. Medical Conditions and Medical Events During Travel
Client assumes the risk of any medical event occurring during travel that relates to a medical condition. MBM is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses to the extent caused solely by such a medical event, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. MBM does not guarantee the availability, adequacy, or quality of medical facilities, emergency response, evacuation services, or medical personnel at any destination. Some Suppliers may require medical documentation, a physician's letter, a liability waiver, or other confirmation or release before permitting Client to book, board, or otherwise participate in a cruise, flight, accommodation, activity, or excursion. Client is responsible for confirming any such Supplier requirement in advance and for obtaining, completing, and providing any required documentation directly to the Supplier.
17. Travel Insurance / Travel Protection
MBM recommends that travelers consider appropriate travel insurance or travel protection. MBM may provide quotes, links, or administrative assistance involving Travel Insured or another provider available for the trip. Coverage is provided by the insurer or plan provider, not by MBM, and is governed by the policy or plan documents.
Because MBM's accessibility-focused practice serves many travelers managing pre-existing medical, mobility, or other health-related conditions, Client should give particular consideration to how a travel insurance policy addresses pre-existing conditions, medical treatment while traveling, and medical evacuation when evaluating available coverage options.
You are responsible for reviewing coverage, exclusions, pre-existing-condition provisions, timing requirements, claim procedures, and benefit limits.
18. Independent Suppliers and Events Beyond MBM's Control
MBM does not control Supplier acts or omissions, insolvency, schedule changes, cancellations, overbooking, delays, strikes, weather, natural disasters, public-health events, war, civil unrest, government action, baggage handling, or other conditions beyond MBM's reasonable control. When disruption occurs, MBM may provide reasonable assistance within scope, but alternatives may involve Supplier costs, changed pricing, reduced availability, or newly accepted professional work.
MBM is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses to the extent caused solely by such events. This section does not limit or exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Groups, Minors, and Information for Other Travelers
For group travel, the coordinator is responsible for timely communication, accurate traveler information, deadlines, and distribution of material documents. Supplier group contracts may
impose separate deposits, minimums, rooming-list rules, attrition provisions, substitutions, or cancellation terms. Information about minors should be provided by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult responsible for the minor's travel. That adult is responsible for appropriate permissions, identification, and travel documentation.
20. Communications and Trip Records
Trip information, proposals, approvals, confirmations, invoices, notices, and other records may be exchanged electronically. You are responsible for current contact information and prompt review. Electronic records may be retained with the trip record as evidence of instructions, authorizations, and acceptance.
21. Privacy
MBM collects and uses traveler information as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, plan and service travel, process authorized transactions, communicate, coordinate special needs, and operate the business. Information may be shared with Suppliers, WorldVia/Travel Quest systems, TravelJoy, travel insurers, payment processors, analytics and technology providers, and other service providers as needed for those purposes and as described in MBM's
Website Privacy Policy.
22. Sensitive Travel and Accessibility Information
Travel planning may require passport, identification, accessibility, mobility, medical, dietary, emergency-contact, or other sensitive information. Provide only information reasonably needed for the trip and use the channel MBM directs. MBM may share this information with the Suppliers or providers that need it to evaluate or deliver requested services. Supplier and destination practices may occur outside the United States.
23. Photo / Media
Unless you opt out, MBM may use non-sensitive photographs or video that you voluntarily provide to MBM, or in which you appear and that are created in connection with the trip, for MBM's website, social-media, portfolio, or marketing materials. MBM will not intentionally use passport images, payment information, medical information, or other sensitive travel records for this purpose.
You may opt out by emailing mbmtraveler@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect your ability to purchase MBM planning or booking services or the price of those services. A later withdrawal applies to future use after MBM receives and processes it; material already published, distributed, or archived may remain in those existing materials.
A photograph or video featuring a minor will be used only with permission from the parent or guardian responsible for that minor's travel.
24. Use of Artificial Intelligence
MBM may use AI-enabled tools for generic resort comparisons, itinerary planning, transportation-option research, and similar planning or research functions. MBM does not intentionally provide traveler personal information to an AI tool for those functions.
25. Complaints and Opportunity to Resolve
If you have a concern about MBM's professional services, contact MBM promptly at mbmtraveler@gmail.com and provide enough information for review. Before filing a formal claim concerning MBM's services, you agree to provide a reasonable opportunity for good-faith discussion and attempted resolution.
26. Limitation of Role and Responsibility
MBM is responsible for its professional services with reasonable care based on information available at the time. MBM does not guarantee Supplier performance, trip outcomes, uninterrupted travel, accessibility conditions, destination safety, weather, government action, medical outcomes, or refunds or credits.
27. Governing Law and Dispute Venue
These Terms are intended to be governed by Ohio law. Any permitted court action concerning MBM's professional services would be brought in an appropriate state or federal court serving Franklin County, Ohio, unless applicable mandatory las requires otherwise.
If a dispute arises concerning MBM's professional services, the parties agree to first make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to participate in good-faith mediation before pursuing arbitration or litigation, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
To the extent a dispute is subject to a valid and enforceable arbitration agreement, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable arbitration agreement and rules of the arbitration administrator selected in that agreement. Any arbitration provision is subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot legally be waived.
To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, or applicable law permits or requires the dispute to be brought in court, the parties consent to venue in an appropriate state or federal court in Franklin County, Ohio, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
Nothing in this section is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
28. Changes to These Terms
MBM may update these Terms for future engagements. The version presented and accepted for a specific engagement will govern that engagement unless the parties later agree to an update or applicable law requires otherwise.
29. Severability and Entire Agreement
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should remain effective to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, any accepted PBF disclosure, booking authorization, applicable Supplier terms, insurance election or declination, and other written trip-specific terms are intended to operate together according to their respective subjects.
